Here in the lower reaches of New England we
are experiencing a couple of hot and humid
days.Current temperature is 92 degrees F with
a heat index of 101.Tomorrow's temperarture
is expected to reach 100 degrees F. with
heat index of 110-115. especially so for
the elderly,young, and those with breathing
problems.If possible,they should be in an air
conditioned environment.Otherwise they should
be where a fan and open window are available.
If any persons have alleries at this time,and
haveno air conditioning,they should have window
screenswith as fine a mesh as possible to block
debris from entering the room.
Another idea would be to wrap a single layer
of cheesecloth around the screen. Be very careful
regardless of your health.
It is amazing how many people have paid the ultimate
price just, because they thought they were "too tough"
or "too unlikely" to be affected.
